We were warmly welcomed at the airport by Nishanta, who guided us through Sri Lanka for two weeks. He was extremely friendly and offered exceptional service, always paying attention to the small details — from stopping at local stalls for fresh coconut to buying us lychees along the way. His flexibility made a big difference: he adapted the schedule whenever needed and constantly looked for ways to give us the best possible experience. *5 Stars - Absolutely unforgettable!* From the moment we landed, Pearl Island Holiday and Tours made everything seamless. Our guide Nishantha picked us up right from the airport and we had a tailor-made package that took us around the entire island - staying at 6 different 5-star hotels, from stunning beaches to the cool mountain air. So many highlights, from the elephant safari , snorkelling with turtles and black tipped sharks, the waterfalls, the temples, and the tea plantation- incredible! The island itself is truly breathtaking. Special mention tfor Nishantha our tour guide: his English is excellent, he was funny, friendly, informative, and incredibly knowledgeable. He made the holiday extra special by taking us to amazing little hidden gems that only the locals know about. Even when we decided to take a rest day, he went above and beyond to reschedule our booked tours to fit around us - zero stress. He was with us every day and nothing was too much trouble for him and he made us feel safe and comfortable. Bucket List Holiday to Sri Lanka
Starting at our airport arrive, our driver (Dumindu) was exceptional! His cozy smile, reassuring voice and experience made my husband and myself feel like we were in great hands, and that this was going to be an adventure of a life time. Dumindu informed us enthusiastically each and everyday of our itinerary, making sure we had whatever we needed on our morning pick-up from our hotel. (I myself loved it!) Our adventure took us cross-country, spanning 11 days. Dumindu attention to detail though-out our trip was impressive. From reassuring our safety manoeuvring through busy traffic, to openning our car doors, elaborating on historical events, sites and explaining the history of Sri Lanka Dumindu never missed a beat. We felt safe, secure, and educated on our extraordinary trip to Sri Lanka. We would highly recommend Sri Lanka Pearl Island Holidays to anyone looking for an authentic, professional, travel company. Nishantha heeft ons begeleid op een 18- daagse rondreis door sri Lanka. Hij is een zeer uitstekende chauffeur in een wirwar van verkeer met brommers en duizenden tuktuks . Hij is zeer professioneel en zorgt voor ons als voor zijn eigen familie en brengt ons op authentieke plaatsen in sri Lanka. Een echt meerwaarde voor onze reis. Steeds vriendelijk en hulpvaardig. Unvergessliche Momente in einem wunderschönen Land mit einem tollen Organisator
Wir waren vom 18. Juli bis 27. August 2025 mit Nishantha in Sri Lanka unterwegs. Und es war ein für unsere Familie einmaliges Erlebnis. Bereits am Flughafen wurden wir sehr herzlich von ihm empfangen. Nishantha begleitete uns auf der gesamten 6-wöchigen Tour durch Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 Immer da wenn man ihn brauchte, und doch immer dezent im Hintergrund. Wir hatten die Hotels bereits gebucht und die Tour vordefiniert. Aufgrund seiner Erfahrung und Kenntnis gab uns Nishantha aber auch immer wieder Alternativen und neue Ideen, auf die wir als Touristen nie gekommen wären. Er hütete sogar unsere Kinder, wenn meine Frau und ich eine Massage hatten oder etwas anschauen wollten, dass die Kinder weniger interessierte. Er wurde während unserem Aufenthalt zu einem Familienmitglied 😉 An unserem letzten Abend hat er uns zu seiner wunderbaren Familie zum Nachtessen eingeladen. Wir können Sri Lanka Pearl Island Holidays allen nur wärmstens empfehlen! Individuelle Bedürfnisse werden berücksichtigt. Seine Vorschläge sind die eines Insiders der sein Land wirklich gut kennt und Nishantha als Mensch ist wirklich toll. Und er ist ein grossartiger Fahrer, der auch im hektischen Verkehr auf der Insel seine Nerven und die Übersicht behält! Falls wir wieder nach Sri Lanka reisen (und das werden wir sicherlich wieder tun) wissen wir auch, an wen wir uns immer wieder gerne wenden würden.
